MAC Style Black - Fall 2009 - Cremesheen Lipstick in “Black Knight” and Mattene matte lipstick in “Midnight Media”.
I stocked up on this collection when it came out, because as MAC does - this was a “limited edition” item. As a makeup artist this pisses me off because it sometimes takes a few uses on photo shoots to decide if I really like a product and their limited edition stuff sells out before I can stock up most of the time. Hate that and this a big reason why I’m not a big MAC fan. I do *love* the Black Knight lipstick and bought three of them (I’m a big black lipstick lover) and one of the matte black.
My favorite company is MAKE UP FOR EVER - because they are not afraid to have a black lipstick or otherwise “weird” color in their permanent collection and they rarely make limited edition colors.
