Geek Chic Cosmetics swatches!
My Geek Chic order came in today and I am loving everything I got!
In order from top to bottom/right to left:
Glitter Grenades “Plasma”
Solid Snake - their current color of the month
Luck Dragon
Everybody Lies
Anarchist Priest
Antediluvian (?? can’t read the label, it was a freebie)
Bonded to the Stars
Blasphemous
Game Over
Thoughts:
My favorites are Luck Dragon, Everybody Lies and Anarchist Priest. My camera couldn’t catch the awesomeness of these colors, they are all really amazing - Luck Dragon, which barely showed up for instance, is dazzling!! It is both opalescent and glittery, so very pretty. The green in Everybody Lies is drop dead gorgeous, I have been looking for a nice dark green and this is definitely it. Very happy with my purchase and will order again.
Fyrinnae “Arcane Magic” swatches
So I got my Fyrinnae order today (yippee!) and here are the promised swatches! Swatches were applied with a wet brush, pic taken with an iPhone, no flash.
From right to left:
Madam & Eve’s
Dark Fantasy
Sultry Samhain
Mystical Hedgehog
Velveteen Werewolf
Shenanigans
Glitterboi
My absolute favorites of the lot are Madam & Eve’s and Sultry Samhain. The glitter is simply *amazing* in the Madam & Eve’s and that shade of red in Sultry Samhain is just deadly (in a good way)! I was a bit unimpressed by Glitterboi, because with that name you’d think it would be way more glittery than it actually is. Mystical Hedgehog is quite nice, it’s a lovely shade of lavender with blue glitter. I don’t see Shenanigans listed on their site so maybe it is a new shade? It is very similar to Velveteen Werewolf but just a tad darker - they are both in the gold range. Overall I really like these shades and would definitely order again.
*Disclaimer: I did not receive free products to promote or review this line, I have only ordered from them once before.
Somewhat completed look, the texture of the nose bothered me (looked like sponge cake!) so I am going to recast it. Didn’t bother with gluing the forehead down, so we had fun with it. He looks a bit like a Super Mario Brother, no?
